In 1985, Goldman Properties pioneered Miami Beach by restoring 18 properties in the historic Art Deco district. One of the company’s crowning achievements include the restoration of the 1939 Tiffany Hotel into The Hotel of South Beach. In June 2012, Tony Goldman received the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Leonard A. “Doc” Baker Lifetime Achievement Award, which is presented to an individual whose exceptional lifetime contributions of community leadership and philanthropic endeavors have improved the quality of life of Miami Beach citizens.
