Executive Chef - WISH, Miami
Executive chef Michael Bloise brings to Wish an eclectic cooking style that is equal parts classic American and contemporary Asian. "My menu at Wish will always be unpretentious but artful," Bloise promises. "I love food that surprises you, that unfolds with each bite. Wish is such an enchanting restaurant; it deserves food that matches its elegance."
Prior to his appointment, the Johnson & Wales graduate served briefly as executive chef of Miami Beach's Tantra restaurant and worked under chef Frank Randazzo as executive sous chef at The Gaucho Room, the restaurant formerly located in Miami Beach's Loews Hotel. He also served as executive sous chef to Wish's former executive chef, Michael Reidt, from November 2001 to November 2002. Bloise will gradually add his own dishes to Wish's menu, continuing the restaurant's evolution and maintaining its standing as one of South Florida's most celebrated dining destinations.
