Born and raised in New York City to two very entrepreneurial parents, Jessica was exposed to business, sophistication and culture at a very early age. Now based in Miami, she brings much of that diverse upbringing to her role as chief operating officer for Goldman Properties' hotel division where she oversees the company's hot South Beach properties, the Park Central Hotel, The Hotel (formerly the Tiffany), and its Mobil Four-Star restaurant, Wish.
Jessica graduated with a degree in psychology from Boston University, and in 1992 entered the highly competitive executive training program at Saks Fifth Avenue. There, she quickly rose to the position of associate fashion director, where she was responsible for making buying decisions for Saks stores nationwide, a job that took her all over the world. After five years, Jessica decided it was time for a new challenge. As she applied to business schools, she was reminded that there was a great teacher much closer to home - her father, Tony Goldman.
From the beginning, Jessica was drawn to the hotels division of Goldman Properties. In 1998, with plans for opening The Hotel (formerly The Tiffany) about to go forward, she decided to immerse herself in the business. Teaming up with her father and fashion designer Todd Oldham, she parlayed her fashion world training and organizational skills into the greater role of overseeing all aspects of the hotel's construction, putting together an ace management team, and consulting on every detail from tile selections to staff uniforms. Jessica's current responsibilities include company-wide marketing, strategizing, advertising, website development, public relations, special events, food & beverage development, hotel operations and publishing the company newsletter.
With future plans to open hotels in both New York and Philadelphia, Jessica understands the need to differentiate in a competitive market, and she and her team will do that with the same attention to detail, excellent service, impeccable style and design and, the most telling and personal aspect - warmth and grace.
Jessica's professional and charitable affiliations include:
- Founding Board Member, Adopt-a-Classroom charity program
- Member, Young Presidents Organization (YPO) - Miami Chapter
- Member, Miami Beach Mayor's Blue Ribbon Tourism Task Force
- Marketing & Tourism Committee, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau
Jessica and her husband, Scott Srebnick, are active participants in the "Big Brother, Big Sister" mentoring program. The Goldman Family attended the "Families in Business" program at the Harvard Business School.
