Joey Goldman
Joey began working for Goldman Properties at age 18, after deciding a more unconventional career path was suitable for him. His initial involvement began in the hospitality side of the business. At age 18, he opened The Riviera Kitchen and Bar in Miami's South Beach. Having overseen every detail from inception to construction and completion, Joey headed up the operation and proceeded to learn every line position in his restaurant. He filled in shifts as dishwasher, cook, waiter and bartender and, in doing so, developed an excellent understanding of the mechanics of a restaurant operation. Joey gained confidence and, having developed a loyal following of customers, went on to open "The Bar", a rock and roll lounge that garnered cult status and immense popularity among Miami's glitterati and South Beach locals alike.

In 1994, Joey decided to return to New York City and a new challenge: the development of the Wall Street District of Manhattan. To ignite interest in the neighborhood he partnered with his father Tony to develop the concept for the Wall Street Kitchen and Bar at 70 Broad Street, a magnificent landmark building dating from 1908. Joey continues to have a presence in the Wall Street community by overseeing the development of Historic Stone Street, a residential and commercial development comprising rental lofts and retail stores. During this time he also developed a 30,000 square foot former office building on Rector Street, Battery Park, into full floor Loft condominiums. In January 2000 Joey began overseeing the development of The Lofts of Greene Street, 12 full floor Loft Condominiums, as well as two 3,000 square foot retail stores. This is phase one of a three-phase development plan, and he is involved in every aspect of The Lofts of Greene Street, from financing and pre-construction to construction and sales.

Joey is now setting his sites on Miami and Miami Beach once more and has recently set up offices and launched a subsidiary of Goldman Properties, Goldman Real Estate, LLC, a development and real estate brokerage company operating in New York and Miami. Joey lives in Miami Beach with his wife Thea and son, Jake.
