James has a 10-year background in commercial and luxury-residential architecture, design and construction. Work at Goldman Properties has included the completion of 103 Greene Street, a twelve unit residential condominium with two street level, retail units. Current projects include the construction of 107-109-111 Greene Street, a fifteen unit, 53,000 sq. ft. residential condominium and the repositioning 110 Greene Street, a 165,000 sq. ft. commercial and residential building in SoHo.
Prior to joining Goldman Properties, James was the Project Architect for a $37 million design-build school in New York City. Additional Project Architect experience includes numerous luxury residences, a large multi-structure estate project in Westchester County and several restaurant renovations in the city. James has unique experience with structural systems acquired while working with an architect who also practiced as a structural engineer.
James holds a bachelor's degree from Wake Forest University in his native state of North Carolina. He also holds a Masters degree of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a Masters degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He is a licensed Architect and real estate salesperson in the state of New York.
