"Everyone knows the best way to a person's heart is through their stomach," explains Tony Goldman. "What many people don't know is that if you feed the people, the people will feed the neighborhood." Using this powerful insight, Goldman has been revitalizing and recreating historic neighborhoods for more than 25 years.

The upbeat jazz club-feel of the Greene Street Café echoed the hopeful new era of prosperity that was coming to Soho in the late '70s, and in 1984 the Soho Kitchen & Bar redefined the wine bar experience and became an institution in its own right. In the late '80s, Lucky's, the piano bar and restaurant at The Park Central, was the center of the rebirth of South Beach, the place where locals and visitors alike gathered to celebrate and enjoy great food and wine along with some jazz from their host, Tony Goldman. This magical blend of historic properties and wonderful hospitality continued in 1996 with the opening of the Wall Street Kitchen & Bar at the spectacular American Bank Note Company building on New York's Broad Street, and when Wish at The Hotel invited people into its lush garden setting in 1998 the stage was set for a multi-award winning restaurant to lead the Miami culinary scene. The end of 2001 saw a new chapter of the Goldman success story as we welcomed the first guests at the Stone Street Tavern in New York's financial district, and the company marked the beginning of 2002 with the launch of Trust, its first restaurant in Philadelphia.

Goldman Properties takes pride in the way it finds, recruits, develops, and retains employees at its restaurants. The company nurtures young, up-and-coming chefs, giving them the encouragement and creative freedom to grow in stature and recognition. The company has an extraordinary management team that oversees the creation of new restaurant ventures, from concept, design and construction to menu, beverage programs and staffing. Goldman Properties takes all these key ingredients, mixes them together with a varied and exciting clientele and creates a winning restaurant, a place that will draw people to an area, and entice them to return again and again.
